Albert Kennon Cherry was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina were as a child,
attended Elementary thru High school in Goldsboro, North Carolina, graduating 8 June, 1954. Enlisted in United States Air
force June 18, 1954 and served until July 1, 1976, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant.
Al graduated from Victor Valley Junior College 1978 with a Degree in Electronics and a certificate in Computers. Married
Mary E. Jones of Goldsboro, North Carolina October 4, 1 958, five children were born from this union.
After retirement, Al was worked for the
Southwest Portland Cement Company of Victorville, California for three years, followed by employment with two Air Districts-
South Coast and Mojave Desert -
as an Air Quality Technician. Final retirement came in 1999, which
allowed Al to become self-employed for six years.
