August 6, 2009 will forever be a historical and monumental day; Judge Sonia Sotomayor
is confirmed, as a result of a 68 to 31 vote, to the United States Supreme Court. Judge
Sotomayor will
be the first Hispanic and third woman in history to ever serve on the Supreme Court.
